Light of Deliverance used to be "the skill" for hybrid monks. So I was thinking, since all monks run is UA/HB nowadays...

12+1+1 Healing, 9+1 prot, 9+1 Divine favor when with HB

1 Arcane Mimicry
2 Light of Deliverance (lower recharge, more range, more heal than divine Healing/Heaven's Delight unless you stay on Superior Divine Favor rune headgear)
3 Dwayna's Kiss
4 Cure Hex
5 Shield of Absorption
6 Aegis (when no SY! in team, swap for Prot Spirit)
7 Mend Ailment/Dismiss Condition
8 Selfless Spirit/Seed of Life/Res(Hero)

This should be runnable on a hero too. I will get back to you after some testing.

LoD actually isn't all that bad right now. The problem I have with it is that it denies you a decent single target heal. You have to live with Kiss/Dismiss/Patient, none of which are all that great.

My reaction to Mimicry with LoD is that the whole point of UA/HB is the big party heals, so if I was alongside that Monk I'd just run Word and let them top off. You don't need two super party healers.

...of course they could be using those elites to supercharge Orison. If they are just get out of their way and spam Prot more, you'll need it.

honestly divine healing/heaven's delight +UA is good enough. Carry both if you want, that ought to be overkill enough.

LoD is still really good in hybrid monk builds. Pair it with the standard protting trio and a couple of single target heals (I happen to like dwayna's kiss and patient spirit, even if they arnt as powerful as WoH).

60 second downtime on AM is murder. Waiting for the recharge will be like back in the old days waiting for E/Mos to regen their energy between battles.

When I was running in DoA groups to collect shiny rocks for a shiny pink shield, I ran an LoD Mimicry build with Seed of Life. The groups always used to have 3 monks. The other two were WoH and HB. It worked so well and I could be so lazy that I just ran it everywhere. I turned my Talkhora into an HB and I could alt tab to read interwebz and go back to cast seed or LoD every little bit.

Like I said, lazy! (And a bit ADD.)

The downtime isn't too bad. You learn to recast HB right before AM reverts and starts its recharge. Always make sure you hit it on a +20% enchantments. You just make it if you time it right.

Lately I've been running a hybrid monk with LoD and Heal Other as well as Guardian/Prot Spirit/Aegis and Glyph of Lesser Energy. Works great. Lots of prot, a nice spam able party heal, and a good single target heal.

Depends on the situation. WoH is better in most but LoD is better in areas where there is more AoE.

lod is a pretty sub par party heal right now, if they lower the recharge abit more it may become a viable option, wasting an elite slot for a 60hp party heal when a heal party with ua or healers boon is doing 120ish plus u get the benefits from ur other straight heals.
